  • How long should a commercial HVAC unit last?

A commercial HVAC unit’s typical life span is 15-20 years with routine proper maintenance.

  • Why is regular maintenance important for a commercial HVAC unit?

Routine maintenance is extremely important and will maximize the life of your commercial HVAC unit by improving efficiency, extending the life span of your unit, and preventing breakdowns.

  • How often does my commercial HVAC unit need to be serviced?

Although each system is different and has unique needs, we generally recommend servicing your commercial unit at least two times per year: once in the spring and once in the fall. Some higher-tech units may require quarterly service, and we always recommend filter changes quarterly.

  • What qualifications should I look for when selecting an HVAC maintenance company for my commercial unit?

Always seek out a contractor who is both licensed and insured. In addition, you want to find someone experienced with your particular type of equipment who has a good reputation and positive reviews.

  • What should I do if I think my commercial HVAC unit is experiencing a problem?

Contact a qualified technician immediately if you think your commercial HVAC unit is having issues. Consider the type of unit you have, and seek out a contractor with experience with your particular type of unit. DO NOT WORK ON THE UNIT YOURSELF, as this can cause further issues and void your warranty!

  • How can I improve my indoor air quality?

Your HVAC plays a large part in your air quality. How? By filtering out toxic particles before sending air circulating through your space and controlling the humidity of the space being served. Proper ventilation of your HVAC unit also plays a large part in optimizing your air quality.
